Battle: Windows 8 Developer Preview vs. Android 3.2 Honeycomb
Here we are back with another test boot video of Windows 8. In this video, you'll see Android 3.2 Honeycomb installed on the new ASUS Transformer with Dock attached against the Windows 8 Developer Preview installed on the Dell Inspiron Mini 1012. The ASUS Transformer has 1GB RAM installed, with the 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor. The Dell Mini 1012 has similar specs with 1GB RAM also, and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor. Both machines are fresh installs, and no settings added other than a user account and Wi-Fi 802.11 connection enabled. It is somewhat impressive to see that the Windows 8 machine comes very close to booting alongside Android 3.2 Honeycomb, as it's really loading 2 separate interfaces while Android is loading one. have a look at the video below and be the judge. Is Windows on the right track with Windows 8 metro style interface paired with the tradition OS desktop?in Technology -
