Antipodean Footnotes: A Blog About Rare Books and Special Collections in Australasia
I started Antipodean Footnotes in February 2011. Since then I have published sixty-nine articles on a range of topics relating to rare books in Australia and New Zealand, drawing most heavily from the Dunedin Public Library collections. Topics have included printing in Maori, book auctions, provenance evidence, autograph letters (including a guest post by Professor Roger Collins). My most recent post was on a copy of Dieffenbach's Travels in New Zealand annotated by Edward Wakefield.
