As most of our friends know, Daphyn and I moved out of the NYC area and back to Harrisburg, PA last month in preparation for the little one on the way. We settled on a house right off of Mountain Road a few weeks back, and have been busy with painting, moving, and working with contractors on a variety of changes. …

BarCamp Harrisburg
http://blog.mandalatv.net/?p=551I’ve just posted the signup page for BarCamp Harrisburg, a proposed unconference for Web designers, developers, and Web enthusiasts in the Central PA area. Here’s what a BarCamp is, if you’re unfamiliar with the term. My simple definition: It’s a free, open-source conference on a specific topic where attendees participate to determine the topics and schedule. …

If you look closely to the right you can see they serve up “conversation” with other edibles. I don’t see signs like these in my neighborhood for some reason.

ITP AlumniBlender
http://itp.nyu.edu/alumniblenderI pretty much swore off print in college after realizing I was killing too many trees during the design process, but I made a rare exception for my friends over at TorchBearer Sauces. They’re introducing a new, taller bottle for their products that

My Facebook Nexus
http://itp.nyu.edu/alumniblender/2008/07/07/my-facebook-nexu...I recently found Nexus for Facebook (via Flytip), a pretty cool social networking visualizer. The graph it generates looks like something straight out of Clay Shirky’s class, and the lower sphere definitely serves as a testament to how well
