If you are interested in what has happened to our country, I suggest reading two great books. The first one, "TAKE THIS JOB AND SHIP IT" by Democratic Senator Byron Dorgan of North Dakota, I already have written about in...…

    http://blog.nj.com/njv_joseph_racioppi/2008/11/historic_times_indeed.html

Just weeks after scaring a spineless Congress into forking over $700 billion dollars to buy bad debt, Henry Paulson (King Henry wannabe) announced today that the government won't buy troubled bank assets. Click on link for scary picture of Paulson....…

What I did not know until reading an article a few days ago was that the place identified as the Martians' initial landing place, Grover's Mill, NJ, is a real place. Not really a town, as I understand it, but a location in

    http://www.triathlontrainingblog.com/?p=695

To this day, I still have an unrealistic fear of sharks. I can’t shake it. I’m doing a triathlon in Washington, NC this weekend. The swim is in the Pamlico River, way upstream from the ocean. But I’m still thinking about sharks. After all, the shark attacks that inspired the movie JAWS occurred in a creek, miles upstream from the ocean.

The paper reports, "several well-connected Republicans," have "heard the buzz" that Dobbs may run. Dobbs had been a registered Republican until he switched to Independent in 2006. Apparently the head of the New Jersey Republicans isn't buying the hype just yet. He tells the Star-Ledger if Dobbs is serious, he should register as a Republican first.
