    I asked you guys to help find out what was going on with a folk dancing petition. [IMG [info]]nigelh and [IMG [info]]rince_wind chipped in and with some of my inexpert reading of legislation online produced this blog post: IANAL. I have searched for random LJ and other blog posts to spread the idea that I think this is all a storm in a teacup. The two petitions showing up most in the blogosphere ATM are the fuel duty one which while understandable is short sited and this one

    commented on another blog that this issue rises because of an ambiguity of what is actually being sold by the BBC, in this case through iTunes. With DVDs and videos before them you were buying the material to own because you loved the series or the show and wanted to own it
