Batman in Lego form must rock, right? Star Wars managed to pull it off so why can’t a man in a cape that has no super powers what-so-ever? Despite the title of this post Batman’s Lego cousin’s DS game swings both ways. Plus, it’s probably only going to be awesome if you’re under twelve years-old. …

Playstation Home Open Beta Will Hit in the “Coming Weeks”.
http://blog.pricegrabber.co.uk/buttonsmasher/2008/11/14/playstation-home-open-beta-will-hit-in-the-coming-weeks/It seems like centuries ago when Sony first announced their virtual world experience Playstation Home, but in reality it was only back in 2007. Back then Sony had slated the release for the autumn of that year, but since we’re nearly at the end of 2008 and it still isn’t here we can safetly say that Sony’s original projections were easily over-optimistic. …

No Signal Input
http://www.nosignalinput.co.ukA quick plug for my other video game blog (courtesy of Pricegrabber.co.uk) as I've posted my fairly long walkthrough/impressions of the Fracture demo that's now available on Xbox Live and Playstation Network. I always have content going up on ButtonSmasher so, as usual, be sure to check it out when you get the chance.

Far Cry 2 Impressions.
http://www.nosignalinput.co.uk/2008/10/far-cry-2-impressions...Orignally posted at ButtonSmasher. I've been playing Far Cry 2 most of the weekend and today (it came out on Friday) and I'm kind of on the fence in regards to my impressions of it. It's not that it's a bad game, it's just that there's plenty of minor annoyances that bring it down.

Review: Soul Calibur IV
http://www.gamesreview.co.uk/2008/09/review-soul-calibur-iv....realised I was that damn good at gaming and had this sh*t beat within 45 mins.-ed So, I'm being quick to establish that namco's latest is rather easy, even for journeyman sword wielders. It's also short on story and hardly anything groundbreaking. Graphically, it's just okay without being jaw dropping (like the first time you got a look at DOA3, amirite?). The dialogue for the story mode is as bad as any beat 'em up out there too. I opted to switch off the English translation as, mercifully, you can

Then I was happy. For quite a while, really, until I noticed that despite the 293 MBs of free Star Wars goodness I still couldn't find a joystick. Oh well... As you dear readers are hopefully better equipped, allow me to explain why you just have to

Slave Circus presents Circulate. I review it.
http://gnomeslair.blogspot.com/2008/03/slave-circus-presents...Truth be said, I'm not much of a casual games fan and even less so when I'm too busy to spare the few precious moments needed for that extra drink. Also I'm not in the best of moods. AndButtonSmasherhas been taking up too much of my gaming/blogging time. Oh, yes, and Circulate the brand new game I'm supposed to be reviewing here, is definitely advertised as one of them casual offerings. Then again, were I wearing a sombrero ( sombreros always make
