Brian Vickery – Social Media Sport Analogies
Purpose of this Blog April 1, 2011 marks my 10-year anniversary as a principal with a fantastic company that has blessed me abundantly: Mantis Technology Group. We have grown from a guy writing software from the backseat of a Chevy Lumina (Illumina was our first product), to a full service software solution provider with a strong focus on business intelligence and social media. We now have a SaaS product called Mantis Pulse Analytics to measure consumer sentiment and support real-time response, and it is best described technically as….COOL!! As I continue to learn more about social media, and watch it evolve, I hope to add my own perspective via sports analogies (and perhaps the occasional cooking analogy, but I’ll try to involve fire or hot grease). I already have a few ideas queued up, but I invite ideas from the gallery. Help me make this blog interactive! Who knows, we might find a way to make social media and curling analogous??
