I started Butterfly Buns in February 2011 as a way to share my love of baking with the world. The name comes from my favourite thing to bake with my Grandma when I was a child - light, moist fairy cakes with the tops sliced off and rearranged as butterfly wings poking up out of a buttercream or jam topping. If you've never made these before, do it now! I add new posts regularly with plenty of photos of my cakes as well as other tasty treats, new recipes that I'm trying out, and some (hopefully!) helpful hints and tips that I pick up along the way.
