My blog is dedicated to helping you find a competitive edge. I started writing it because we are ALL being overtaken. That applies to individuals, teams, generations, small businesses, large businesses, governments, nations and entire trade blocs. Our incumbency counts for nothing. Maybe we were successful yesterday, but does that mean we’ll be successful tomorrow? Challengers are everywhere. Countries, people and organisations who do things differently. Maybe they’re cheaper. Maybe they’re faster. Maybe they’re forging better relationships. Above all, though, they’re hungry and they’re learning fast. In this blog, the emphasis is on practical ways to find competitive advantage - for you, your team and your organisation. Underlying the practical advice are some deep thoughts on strategy, marketing, finance, management and human beings in all their irrational glory. There are also some occasionally irreverent diversions, such as the Weekly Buzzword Challenge.
