I have always enjoyed cooking... Many happy memories from my childhood are "food related". I remember spending hours in the kitchen, helping my parents cook for big occasions like Christmas or Sunday lunch! It wasn't only about cooking, it was a way of spending time together, doing things together and then enjoy the outcomes with family and friends. In a way to me cooking means "family". And the kitchen has always been my favourite room of the house. That's where I would do my homework while my mom was preparing dinner, that's where we would eat all together and chat about our day. I have travelled quite a bit and I have always been amazed by the way Italian food is prepared abroad. 90% of the times, it is a fake. And it is very often not even close to the real thing for taste, texture, ingredients.
