  1. Norton Takes on Vista's User Account Control

    http://community.winsupersite.com/blogs/paul/archive/2008/10/10/norton-takes-on-vista-s-user-account-control.aspx

So this is interesting. I can’t stand Norton, for whatever that’s worth, but they’ve shipped a User Account Control tool that seeks to replace the one that’s in Windows Vista (!). Yikes. User Account Control (UAC) is a new security feature in Microsoft Windows Vista that changes the architecture …

  2. Getting it wrong about Windows Vista x64

    http://community.winsupersite.com/blogs/paul/archive/2008/10/09/getting-it-wrong-about-windows-vista-x64.aspx

In a rare moment of synergy, I awoke this morning to discover two supposedly trusted sources giving the same bad advice about x64 versions of Windows Vista. Seriously, sometimes it’s just tiring. Walter Mossberg gets it wrong First up is the Wall Street Journal’s Walter Mossberg, a man who suggests switching to Mac OS X as a cure-all for whatever issue you may be having with Windows at the time. …

  3. Blu-Ray drive for the Xbox 360? Nope

    http://community.winsupersite.com/blogs/paul/archive/2008/10/09/blu-ray-drive-for-the-xbox-360-nope.aspx

I can't believe I still get emails about this. :) This week, rumors popped up again that Microsoft was working on a $100-$150 Blu-Ray add-on drive for the Xbox 360. And once again, the rumors are untrue. Here's the official statement. "As we've said before, Microsoft has no plans to introduce an Xbox 360 Blu-ray add-on. …

    The Apple Tax

    http://mobilitysite.com/2009/01/the-apple-tax/

thing that I can say is that with the same amount of money that you spend in a Mac, you buy a really powerful PC. Just in HDD you get twice the space for the same money. You get 30% of more RAM and in one case even a Blue-Ray Driver or a TV Tuner. VIA - SuperSite Blog --- Related Articles at Mobility Site:

    The Apple Tax

    http://ultramobilepc-tips.blogspot.com/2009/01/apple-tax.htm...

Paul Thurrott has posted at his blog a very nice article or note about what Microsoft calls Apple Tax.  There are two tables created by Microsoft to illustrate the whole concept. After checking those tables the only thing that I can say is that with the same amount of money that you spend in a Mac,
