http://denverdays.wordpress.com In March, the Denver Lake Norman Rotary Club assumed management of the Denver Days Festival and is actively working on plans for the 2010 event this fall! Plans are for Denver Days to run from Wednesday, September 29th through Saturday, October 2nd. In 2003, a handful of community-minded citizens had a vision for Denver Days as a community event and that vision has grown into a four night festival with businesses, craft vendors, food, music and entertainment that Denver and surrounding areas look forward to. The objective of Denver Days has been to raise money for the purchase of land for a public park, which would become the permanent home for Denver Days. Since summer 2009, the Denver Lake Norman Rotarians have been completing preliminary plans for the “East Lincoln Rescue Park” to be built on 32 acres of land on Galway Lane, adjacent to the Lincoln Charter School.
