Escape to Reality

What is the punch-line of this blog? Reality is found nowhere but in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the beginning and end. All things were made through Him and for Him. He is the centerpiece of civilization, the hero of history, the Savior of sinners and the King of kings. There’s infinitely more to Jesus than meets the eye and His gospel is better than you think it is. Absent Jesus and life does not add up. Without Jesus the world just feels wrong. Without Jesus philosophy can’t find meaning, science can’t bring closure, and the mind becomes a prison. CS Lewis said, “reality is something you couldn’t have guessed.” You could not have guessed that God was going save you before you were even aware of your need for saving. You could not have guessed that while you were still His enemy He made peace with you through His Son Jesus. You don’t deserve this and neither do I. But He did it anyway. Jesus said there would be trouble and discomfort in following Him. But it’s the discomfort of wriggling your way out
