The WanderLearn blog covers world travel and what we can learn from it. Francis Tapon shares stories, photos, book excerpts, videos, news, and podcasts that come from his adventures around the world. From 2011-2015, the blog will focus on Eastern Europe and Africa. Francis Tapon is author of the WanderLearn Series. The first book was about the Appalachian Trail and the second is about Eastern Europe. Francis has traveled to over 80 countries, walked across America 4 times, backpacked over 12,500 miles in the mountains, and was a finalist in the California Outdoors Hall of Fame. His quest is to visit every country in the world. In 2012, he will start a 3 year journey through every country in Africa (that's 55 countries). The forum and blog comments give everyone a chance to participate. The blog started in 2004.
