Greater Manchester Neonatal Nurses
It is an exciting time for neonatal services as the Greater Manchester Neonatal Intensive Care Partnership works to create the best and safest neonatal service to provide care to our smallest and most vulnerable babies. Our vision is to provide a first class service by developing a fully integrated multi professional team. To ensure that those teams are capable of delivering the highest level of care, we’re not only investing in new facilities and equipment, but ongoing training and improved opportunities. Our nurses are helping to shape the services that will be delivered in our new units and work as part of an integrated workforce, delivering high quality one-to-one care to the sickest infants. This blog, started in May 2010, will allow readers some insight into what it's like working on Greater Manchester's neonatal units during this time of progressive change.
