I started 8 Hamilton Ave. in November 2010. My reasons? There are books (and pieces of writing, articles, poems, etc.) that make me want to run into the street and grab the nearest person and tell them how much I love that book. This blog, based my hometown address, will in some part be my street and you, reading it, will be that person. Along with reviews and news about new books, I'm excited to include a weekly links list of everything literary I run across each week, both timely and otherwise. I hope to cover old favorites, and offer reading suggestions from time to time. I'll also blog about writing and publishing, newspapers, local book stores and local literary events. On a more basic note, I’m a writer and book reviewer; I've lived in Atlanta, Georgia, since 1978.
