  2. SubEthaEdit and Mecurial diffs

    http://iamthewalr.us/blog/2008/11/19/subethaedit-and-mecurial-diffs/

I’m a big fan of both SubEthaEdit, a text editor for Mac OS X, and Mercurial, a distributed version control system written in Python. One of the best parts about SubEthaEdit is the command-line utility it comes with, see. At least 20 times a day I type hg diff | see to diff all of the files in the current Mercurial repository and show the output in a SubEthaEdit window. …

  3. PHP Markdown Extra + PHP SmartyPants Typographer Text Filter for MarsEdit 1.1 released

    http://iamthewalr.us/blog/2008/11/12/php-markdown-extra-php-smartypants-typographer-text-filter-for-marsedit-11-released/

Download PHP Markdown Extra + PHP SmartyPants Typographer_1.1.zip The only thing different about this release from 1.0 is that I removed an unnecessary Perl script. . Press This and the Theme Preview look pretty strong, but the thing that gets me most jazzed is the Post Versioning. If it applied to pages too, WordPress just expanded from personal publishing and CMS to include something like a wiki. Next, here a brief look under the hood of one team’s experiences theming WordPress. Worth a look, if you ever want to play with a custom theme. Lastly, here’s a little quicky on How to Use WordPress as a CMS For Your Business Website

    Firefox 3: A Safari User’s Review, reviewed

    http://tomsucks.wordpress.com/2008/06/03/macapper-fx3-review...

Firefox 3: A Safari User’s Review by Peter Craddock. He obviously notices the huge back button, and while I thought most mac users read Daring Fireball (and thus would have caught his review, which mentions the small toolbar buttons fix. Peter thinks this is just a ‘problem’ and that it cannot be fixed. Next he notices the awesomebar, but he really doesn’t. It’s like he just started Firefox 3, let it import his Firefox 2 data, and then wrote a review based upon cursory

Smaller Is Better - Colin Barret on how to change the new FireFox 3 back button: I’m not a fan of how much screen real estate the new back button takes up in the latest builds of Firefox 3. Fortunately there’s an easy way to change that1. Here’s a visual
