in the web of it, a Shakespeare blog
I started this blog in December of 2010 in the hope of reaching out to others interested in reading and writing about Shakespeare. A bit academic in my approach, I use this space as an outlet for musings as well as a testing ground for new ideas. That said, I invite the input of academics, independent scholars, students, and general readers alike. This is not an authorship blog and I don't want to hear theories about how Shakespeare didn't write the plays attributed to him. Otherwise, this blog is a forum through which everyone is welcome to share their Shakespeare related ideas. Those students requesting homework help are most welcome to do so. After four years as a university TA, I've found guiding students something very difficult to give up, especially when it comes to my favourite author. Ultimately, readers might come here for a source of inspiration, historical knowledge, or even entertainment. I encourage other Bard bloggers to visit the site and to share their own blog.
