Japan Foreign Policy Observatory (JFPO) is a blog that aims to follow, monitor and promote an independent debate about Japanese Foreign Policy and Security Issues. The JFPO was set up by two Portuguese researchers from Kyoto and Osaka Universities. Our goal is to promote a greater awareness on the discussion of Japanese and East Asian politics and security affairs and facilitate the free, informed and productive dialogue amongst scholars and professionals.
