life, love and the pursuit of coffee

I’m a 26 year old Midwestern transplant, Wisconsin born and raised. After graduating college I relocated to Los Angeles where some of the nation’s supposedly most successful minds couldn’t seem to figure out how to tie their own shoes, get their own coffee or cross the street properly. A tourist with a shaggy beard once mistook me for Britney Spears. I’m not sure that’s a compliment considering she was bald at the time. I was not. I did, however, run his foot over with my car. Just kidding, Mom! In 2009 I relocated to Minneapolis to be closer to family. I live Uptown with my long-time boyfriend – our two Shih Tzus Moe and Ari and Tippy the Kitten-Cat. I am a freelance writer with a disastrous affliction of poor spelling.
