Life Through a Lens

Hello…..and welcome to Life Through a Lens, my name is Rusty, I’m in the Dayton Ohio area. I have always been interested into photography. I am a total rookie and am still learning. I have always had P&S “Point & Shoot” cameras, but within the last year moved into the DSLR world. I was mainly shooting my pictures in full auto mode and then realized that I am not using the camera to it’s full potential. So I have recently moved to Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority or Program modes. Many of my shots are also taken either hanging out a window of a car or through the windshield…I know, I know, I’m an idiot…ha ha, but sometimes I just see something that catches my eye and don’t have time to compose it properly. Oh well…
