The media world is full of enough yelling, so here’s to some no nonsense content. Here you’ll find an article-a-day chock-full of links and information about relevant and current topics relating to the media in some fashion. My name is Matt Schafer, and I am attending Louisiana State University, where I am enrolled in a joint degree program for a Master’s of Mass Communication and a Juris Doctorate. Currently, I am a Research Fellow at Free Press, a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to reform the media. My interests lie in political communication, perceptions of news credibility, and local television ownership law.
