WordSalad: The Poetry of Luke Prater

http://lukepraterswordsalad.com/ Started in April 2010, my blog is purely for poetry - I write in many styles/genres and on many topics, including candid social/geopolitical statement, sexual politics, the dynamics inherent in human relationships and personal/spiritual growth, with everything in between. Forms vary, but I write mostly in free verse with a little form (sonnet, villanelle, ballad, usually modern) and some prose-poetry. An image (sometimes two) goes up with each piece. I keep my house tidy with clean lines and plenty of white space. Syndication to Facebook poetry community and Twitter also. The blog hit the 100,000 unique (human) visitor mark before the beginning of 2012 - well before the two-year mark. For a poetry site, that ain't too shabby :) It's just had an overhaul and domain-name change. I'm starting fresh n' feelin' good. You're welcome anytime. |
