As a native of Madagascar now living in the United States, I believe that ending Madagascar’s current political crisis should be a priority. Having an outside perspective as well as close personal connection to the country, I would like to utilize the modern platforms of society to update and acquaint people to the situation at hand. To aid the process of achieving a stable government, I see that providing the public with current news and accurate information as my commitment and an obligation to my country. Transparency of information is essential to follow and accomplish the “Roadmap for ending crisis in Madagascar” signed in September by the main political groups of the island and endorsed by the South African Development Community (SADC). Amnesty must be reach to strengthen the economy not only locally but also globally.
