They chronicle the adventures of a middle-aged woman who gets a job as a fairy godmother and proceeds to fracture every fairy tale in site. Maven comments on fairy tales in general, shares secrets of the other characters in the series and reviews other books about fairy godmothers, magic and fantasy in general. The first novel in the series, Through the Veil, is released in March 2012 by MuseItUp Publishing. Upcoming working titles are That Darn Maven, The Seven Deadly Dwarfs, and After Midnight. |
