    http://metaatem.net/2008/04/17/project-2-color-wars-2008

Continuing my goals for 2008, here’s my second project I’m announcing: Color Wars 2008! When I heard that Ze Frank had joined twitter, I just knew it would be cool. One day, he asked for bedtime stories. Then he made mention that he’d like to find a way to show all the cool ones he was getting to everyone else. …

  2. Reblogging Anil

    http://metaatem.net/2008/03/14/reblogging-anil

Anil Dash is doing a bit of an experiment. He wanted to see if people would embed his content in their site. Not by copy & paste, but by an embed. I think this is a really cool concept, and aligns nicely with tumblr’s tradition of re-blogging posts to add commentary and opinion. …

    http://metaatem.net/2008/02/23/learning-processing

Processing is a really cool language / environment for doing really cool programming projects. One of the things it does really well is graphics. I’ve been playing around with it on and off for a little while now, and here are two things I’ve managed to make. Video Offset Video offset in processing from kastner on Vimeo. …

This is pretty cool.  Spell with flickr lets you input your own words and then scours flickr for images to represent the letters.  The result is an impressive bit of eye candy. It looks sort of like the ransom notes you’ve seen in movies or old detective shows.  I can see me getting

    - displays Flickr updates from various users on a Google Map. Retrievr - an unbelievable mashup that delivers photos based on your drawings. Flickr Logo Maker - Turns any text into a Flickr-style logo. Spell with Flickr - this tool enables you to write text in letters based off Flickr images. Not all that useful but fun. Tagnautica - a slightly weird visual way to browse through Flickr images. Captioner - adds comic-style captions to your images.

for another apron to arrive.. its not vintage.. but its apples.. and I can't wait. Do you think this will make me want to cook more? I can hope, eh? Emily Loria says that a pretty apron will make your kids behave and your housework fun! She likes to spell with flickr, like I do, too. Yay. Jane's Apron is feeding my need for pink, too. I'm so into vintage suitcases for storage of craft supplies. Did you know that? My family hates them. Photojojo has great tips for better
