Modern Health Talk - about technology for home health care

Modern Health Talk is an online community about low- and high-tech solutions for home health care, disabilities, and aging in place that started in March 2011. The problem we’re addressing by promoting home health care technologies is the rising costs as more people live longer. With the onslaught of retiring baby boomers, those costs will rise considerably, so there’s a critical need to find ways to replace institutional care (nursing homes & assisted living) with aging in place at home. Lots of cool technologies help address the problem today, and more are coming. But how does one find them, decide which is best, or keep up? That’s the role of Modern Health Talk. We fill a niche not covered by support groups or the tech industry and will evolve with input from the community itself.
