Mirsal's blog

http://mirsal.posterous.com I'm a software developer focused on open source technology, web scale applications and cool new stuff. I also do design, and I build horizontally scalable server infrastructures because it's fun. I'm a really committed FOSS advocate and GNU/Linux power-user (I'm one of those who think that Free software can change the world to something better, and I'll do my best to make that happen). I was once a VideoLAN team member and I worked for Google as part of their Summer of Code 2008 program. I'm now an entrepreneur and the R&D guy at winux (http://www.winux.fr) a small french startup which sadly leaves me with virtually no time to contribute to external open source projects (we try to be an "everything open source" company, and we only write Free and Open Source software). Hopefully this will change soon and I'll be able to get my hands back on some GNOME hacking or stuff like that. |
