8 Block Radius

I take shots of my neighborhood, objects around the house. The shots are within an eight block radius of my home. My house is on a windy bluff overlooking a shipping channel. It’s an old, funky, place. In the winter, the winds buffet the house, hitting it so hard it shakes. Sometimes, it’s like a giant’s hand pounding on the walls. The trees whip around, birds sail on the wind’s updraft at the bluff’s edge, shingles fly off the roof! The wind creates a wonderful energy that makes me feel alive.
