My Kitchen Moovement
My Kitchen Moovement is a quirky journal documenting a transformational journey from couch to kitchen by an enthusiastic home cook. Through photos, recipes and carefully placed cows, I am finally documenting some of the food that I enjoy cooking and eating. I’ve been fortunate enough to have lived in South Africa, Australia, England, and for the last 10 years, two culinary hot spots in the United States – New York City and San Francisco. I’d like to think that those places have influenced me immensely and brought an off-beat perspective to the food I enjoy. Through My Kitchen Moovement, I will try to capture my interpretation of the classics, and a few recipes I think you should try, classic or not. Creating, preparing and cooking delicious food is at the heart of this journal, but so is humor (and booze). As for the cows, well, they represent my personal Moovement into the kitchen .
