My Retro Kitchen

I started writing My Retro Kitchen in January of 2010, as a place to keep my favorite recipes, safe-keep old family treasures and let my creative juices flow. What started off as just a little hobby has turned into so much more. My Retro Kitchen got its name with the idea that the art of a homecooked, sit-down family dinner is a thing of the past. It is a retro idea. I think it is one of the best things a person can give their family! This is a place where I chat about my cooking adventures, review cookbooks and restaurants and really talk about anything food. I am a full time stay at home mom. And I take the job seriously!! A huge part of nurturing my family is by feeding them well. Full happy bellies = a happy husband and children. I feel that it is my job to feed them, and to do it well.
