Naturally Confused Mom
I started this blog in December 2011. Making healthful, wise decisions for my family is no easy task, and this blog documents the journey and provides tips and funny lessons learned for other like-minded people. Eating real food and banning artificial toxins is a no-brainer in theory — until it’s suddenly 6 p.m., you’re starving and your kitchen consists solely of flimsy celery, two cage-free eggs and taquitos buried in the back of your freezer. And cloth diapering promises to protect baby’s bum, landfills and my budget — until we’re traveling and the third diaper blow-out seems more catastrophic than a tire blow-out. There are blogs galore on organic, wholesome solutions to every facet of life. But putting those into practice is a comedy of trial and error. For every wise decision, there are five more that prove foolish for my family. So I’m confused, naturally. Please join me on the journey as we navigate our way to a healthful, wise life.
