O.M.G Our Mom Games

Gaming is not just a hobby for me, its a part of who I am. I started my blog in 2009 after I wrote a post on Kotaku.com about my then 5yr old son who in a few weeks of playing Scribblenauts improved his reading grades astronomically. I went on to explain how my children are "game addicts" and I'm ok with it. I decided after that I had more to say, much more. My blog is a mash-up of game reviews, impressions, rants and raves and just recently I've started to also write about Game Novels. My blog might not have a huge following, and I might not have the latest gaming info or interview with industry people (though hopefully one day it will) but what it does have is insights into the mind of a female gamer, of a mother who sees games as entertainment and as educational tools for my children, not only the obvious "brain training" type games but any game really, From Gears of War to Scribblenauts.
