The Moderate Libertarian

I'm interested in practical libertarianism, attempting to live free in a partially free country. My purpose is not to spout official talking points, or to thrash out political theory. You won't find me advocating legalizing all drugs tomorrow, disbanding the IRS, and privatizing the police. You will find me advocating incremental improvements in liberty that are not couched in sociopolitical or religious agendas. Why The Moderate Libertarian, especially when some of you may not find my views to be moderate? First, I *am* moderate from the perspective of other Libertarians. I was an officer in the Libertarian Party of Oregon for 4 years from 1996 to 2000....I have been retired from politics since 2000.
