Soul Artist

The heart of this blog is to offer the hope and compassion found in Christ through times of difficulty, uncertainty and trouble. This blog was started in 2008 in response to meeting with people going through times of adversity, discouragement, doubt, grief, loss, anger, trying to forgive, marriage and parenting troubles, decline in health, recovery from drugs and alcohol, and difficult relationships. This blog also comes from a personal struggle as I face my own trials on the journey of life and seek to help others through what I have experienced. There is great hope in Christ! I am a Ministry Director at Hydesville Community Church in Humboldt County, California. We have a Biblical Counseling ministry as well as a Celebrate Recovery. I am active in the arts and creative communications, especially the visual arts as a painter and designer. We are all human, we all struggle. But the writers of the Bible point to a great hope in Jesus Christ!
