Starting Over Studio

Starting Over Studio, begun in March 2011, is a blog chronicling my journey as a fledgling mixed-media, collage, and memory artist, as well as the ways in which creating has preserved my well-being during a difficult transition in my life (unemployment/underemployment). I established this blog to meet, share with, and seek advice from other beginning artists, as well as those who are more experienced. Because I am relatively new to this genre of art and am not currently connected to a live community of artists in my area, I would like to find a niche within the online craft blog community; I would also be interested in finding out information on how crafters turn their art into a viable career.
