The Beauty and the Bitch is our unique take on life from the vantage point of being neither young or old. We call our age "just right" and detail the challenges and absurdities that befall women in general and women of our age specifically. One quote from a recent posting, The Cloak of Invisibility: Thelma and Louise Unseen - "I think people respected my grandmother, and she NEVER tried to be sexy in appearance. Of course if anyone patronized her, she would have taken them out with her riding lawn mower. So, perhaps we have to be combative to be heard." Women don't lose their spirit as they age: they just gain wrinkles and a heightened appreciation for public hygiene.
