The Political Pixie
Economics is, undoubtedly, the most fascinating science under (and above) the sun. In the end, nothing is more beautiful or relevant than this art. I, like so many others, am fueled by an ardent thirst for knowledge. As James Madison said, fourth president of the United States and father of the constitution: “Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.” Something about myself? Well, I am a 1st dan black belt in karate, I write science fiction novels, and I adore tea, and cookies of all sizes. I enjoy investing in the stock market, laughing at politicians, playing my fiddle, debating, scoring goals in hockey . . . and laughing at politicians. If you are interested in politics, economics, or just how the world works, this blog offers fresh, insightful opinions on thought-provoking political, social, and economic issues. Everyone needs a political pixie in their lives!
