The average American buys food from a restaurant almost six times a week. That's a whopping 48 percent of our food budget, according to The National Restaurant Association. That's where Sup comes in. This blog is here to share the most up-to-date information on eating out in South Florida. We're just as interested in fast food and greasy spoons as in white tablecloth haute cuisine. Because going out to eat can mean a corner pizzeria, a paneled steakhouse, a fast food chain or a glitzy celebrity chef restaurant. We'll report adventures and misadventures. We'll talk about chains and independents. Like everyone else, we'll look for ways to save money on eating out.
