501 Places is a travel blog owned and managed by Andy Jarosz. In between travelling I have been an optometrist, a company director and a consultant, but have never lost that passion to explore new places and to tell stories about the adventures that result from those journeys. 501 Places was created with two simple aims: to share the many years of experiences that I have enjoyed while travelling to over 70 countries, and to inspire others who reach this site to explore the world around them. Made up at first of stories from my travels, 501 Places is evolving and also features stories from others who are equally passionate about travelling. We are all great storytellers at heart, and 501 Places is a forum where these stories can be shared and enjoyed by all.
