A Forward Motion
Tennessee: Notable for Jack Daniels, Elvis, and for sitting only a day’s drive from about a dozen different racetracks. Home to one end of the Tail of the Dragon, Bristol Motor Speedway, the Rod Run, and some of the most lax vehicle registration standards in the nation, Tennessee truly is a car enthusiast paradise. Founded in East Tennessee, now with contributors hailing from across the Southeast, Forward Motion exists as a window into the region’s automotive culture. If it burns gas and is more than “just transportation”, you’ll see and/or read about it here. Pistons, rotors, raced, drifted, cruised, or hard-parked; chopped & channeled, stanced, or just “because racecar”, we are equal opportunity enthusiasts. Our members are active participants with SCCA, NASA, PCA, East10Drift, and attend many organized and impromptu meets around the eastern half of the state. Not limited to just Tennessee-bound happenings, we plan to cover several regional events in surrounding states as well.
