As a 25 year old software developer with Sallie Mae loans for the next 15 years, I’ve finally become curious and serious about the money-making world of blogging and affiliate marketing. Most of the blogging books out there spend half of their pages talking about setting up a domain and hosting a website. If it’s that difficult for people to get started, then I already have a head start with my technical background. Why waste my programming knowledge by working for someone else? This blog seeks to document my rise of my entry into the blogosphere. If stay-at-home moms can blog for a living, why can’t I earn an extra few bucks to supplement my regular income? I’m not in it to make millions (although I wouldn’t complain), but a little $200 here and $300 there would be welcome. Youtube, Facebook, Technorati, Yahoo, Google, Adsense, Twitter, Foursquare…here I come! I’ll be posting on the subjects of blogging, .NET code, PHP, social media, and anything else interesting I find.
