Areopagus holds honours degrees in Modern Languages and Religious Education, and is a Lay Reader in the Church of England. He worked as a financial analyst in the City of London for a quarter-century before taking early retirement and training as a teacher. He is now the Head of Philosophy and Religious Education at a rural comprehensive in southern England. Don't let these credentials fool you into thinking that he always knows what he is talking about.
