  1. Should I really talk about Yahoo!

    http://www.carlford.net/?p=63

successful event? In the interim maybe it's the daily SquawkBox call hosted by Alec Saunders. But Andy needs to figure out a way to continue his VoIP blogger dinners which had become a staple of the VON ecosystem. And we wish the best to Jeff Pulver, Carl Ford and their colleagues as they begin Life 3.0. news about VON and if there are other interesting conferences about VOIP somewhere. To me, this is a very bad sign… many companies have lost an important datum point and they deserve a clear and official response. I can understand that Jeff Pulver, Carl Ford and all the other people involved with Pulvermedia cannot say anything officially, but I do believe that the VOIP market deserves an official response by someone.   If you liked this article, please buy me a coffee!

iChat, Video Conferencing, and My Living Room

    http://pravdam.com/2008/05/05/ichat-video-conferencing-and-m...

ve switched at least 50% of my communication with other Mac users to video conferencing, due to ease of use and high quality. Yesterday I showed my business partners a transatlantic video conferencing session with Carl Ford, located in New Jersey. The quality was great, and the result was pretty impressive. Both the call and the “equipment” were free. So what can we learn from this story? 1. Video conferencing has a wide consumer appeal.
