Cohabitaire is about urban life inspired by nature: beautiful photography, great discussion & enticing tales on travel, food, flora & fauna, conservation & sustainability, yoga, surf, science and more. Modern life can be uninspiring at times. It’s a life most of us can’t avoid: mouths to feed, bills to pay, careers to make. But it’s not all doom and gloom. There are things we do to keep ourselves smiling and at the bottom of these things, more often than not, is nature. Nature provides a refuge to rejuvenate our souls and senses from the hum drum of urban existence. Most importantly, when we place value in nature we’re more reluctant to exploit or destroy it. At a time when humans are eliminating habitats, species and ecosystems faster than ever, there has never been more reason to turn to nature for the inspiration needed to save it. Cohabitaire is based in Sydney, Australia, founded in 2010 by graphic designer & photographer Ingrid Schroder.
