Cruising Quest is an information site for cruisers (primarily sailing yacht cruisers). Cruising Quest posts are comprised of articles, opinions and experiences of the moderator, as well as submitted articles, opinions and experiences from our readers. Once posted, anyone is free to comment. We welcome any and all comments and opinions. Based on our experience, much of the information available to the cruiser, especially the would-be cruiser, is unfiltered data coming from unverified sources or data coming from sources with a hidden agenda (like maybe sales and marketing!). Bottom line? Facts and truly useful information are difficult to mine from all the chaff. Our goal is to provide the reader relevant and timely information to help make cruising a safe and rewarding reality. Ellis McKinley is our moderator.
