Crunchtime is for the whisk-challenged, the penny pinchers, the McParent and just ridiculously busy souls like us who want to put more real food on the table. We are two working moms who strive to give our own families some better food throughout the week, but in real time, so we're not shackled to a recipe or making needless trips to the grocer. Dr. April is a Cardiologist in Seattle who offers her knowledge and lessons from a medical standpoint, and Sherri is a longtime cooking student in Los Angeles and also a television marketer who puts both her cooking and marketing skills to work in persuading her family to eat better foods. It's a daily challenge as we try to make our fast food out of real food.
