It is more important to understand than it is to be understood. Before we can understand others, we must first understand ourselves. With insight and wisdom we are better able to realize our own positions and conditions before assuming or speculating about our relationships, and before we can point our finger of blame at the other guy. We are on this earth, first and foremost, to learn how to love, if we fail to love, we will have failed life. What will matter the most throughout your life will be the love you showed and expressed to others through relationships. The only thing that will stand the test of time is love. How you loved your husband, loved your wife, your family members, and everyone else you came in contact with will far outweigh everything else.
