I read an article written by the lovely Mike “Sizemore” Atherton today on the Creative Choices blog. It’s about Chris Morris, CERN, Science and the Arts. I won’t go too much into what he wrote, because I’d like you to go there and read it, but he wrote about how he’s never really been interested in science, but enjoyed Chris’ article in the Guardian yesterday. …

Interview With Brian On O’Reilly
http://www.giagia.co.uk/?p=425I can’t keep up with all of his interviews. This went up a few days ago. My favourite bit is in the intro: “And in listening to him you’ll get the sense … that you’re listening to he world’s leading candidate to replace Carl Sagan.“…

a social media experiment gone awry - seesmic and x-files
http://sean808080.com/blog/a-social-media-experiment-gone-aw...the public timeline absolutely useless to anyone who was not discussing the X-Files movie. There were casualties - during the building wave of frustration, a seesmic user identified herself as the connector between seemsic and 20th century fox and took credit for the launch of the x-files widget. Talk about putting your head up in the middle of cross-fire. Very quickly, she realized that the unexpected behavior of the x-files widget- putting all of the video comments recorded at the x-files site on the public timeline on another site

UFOllowup
http://www.badastronomy.com/bablog/2008/06/25/ufollowup/eventually, they can blink out when the candle dies. Sound familiar? Remember: when it comes to UFOs, unknown isn’t unknowable, and it usually means you haven’t thought the situation through enough yet. Note: As I finished writing this entry, Gia wrote a blog post linking to another sighting that looks exactly like this one. The BBC covered it, and loaded their report with alien nonsense.

Seven Songs
http://www.andycoughlan.co.uk/?p=274t think thay play the same chord progression twice and the riff at the end is just monstrous. Absolute genius. 6) Moby - Ooh Yeah: The latest Moby album really took me back to the late nineties when Play came out. With that and Gia Milinovich getting me excited about the new X-Files movie, there were times when it felt like 1998 all over again… 7) Robbie Rotten - Lazyscouts: A cracking tune (and my current ringtone).
