The Northeast Heavy Construction Academy Blog provides tips and information on heavy equipment operation and our training services. The Heavy Construction Academy was founded by Ralph DelVecchio, who brings years of experience from the construction industry. Under his guidance, every program offered at HCA has carefully constructed curriculum that will lead you to the construction career you want. Not only is HCA founded and guided by an experienced, dedicated veteran, but all of the faculty that teaches the students is as well: meaning everyone you come in contact with at HCA has been exactly where you are at one point: taking the first step towards a career in construction and with heavy equipment. The instructors use this experience and not only instruct the students, but they also demonstrate what they’re teaching and then work right alongside students as the students begin to learn about operating heavy machinery.
